Program Description

This program is designed for students who intend to complete a baccalaureate degree in Information Systems with an emphasis on business applications of information systems in the decision-making and data processing environment. Students should consult the catalog of the college where they intend to complete their studies and enroll in courses which will meet transfer requirements.

Accredited by The Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE)

Students graduating from this program must successfully complete a minimum of 12 semester hours of management and/or technical course work at Rowan College at Burlington County.

Analyze a complex computing problem and apply principles of computing and other relevant disciplines to identify solutions

Design, implement, and evaluate a computing-based solution to meet a given set of computing requirements in the context of a program’s discipline

Communicate effectively in a variety of professional contexts

Recognize professional responsibilities and make informed judgments in computing practice based on legal and ethical principles

Function effectively as a member or leader of a team engaged in activities appropriate to the program’s discipline

Support the delivery, use, and management of information systems within an information systems environment
